Introduction
A scarf changes a look in seconds — as a neck scarf, headscarf, belt or tied around a bag. At Andre Tan you'll find scarves in silk, wool and cotton, square, rectangular and triangular, for summer, transitional weather and winter.
Silk scarves (90×90 cm or 70×70 cm) are summer classics and ideal for business — colours stay vivid. Cotton scarves are more absorbent and worn year-round. Wool scarves (30–50 cm × 180 cm) warm in winter — merino or cashmere blend is most comfortable against skin. Size tip: square scarves under 50 cm are barely practical, from 70 cm the tying options become versatile.
Tie a square silk scarf (70×70 cm) as a classic neck scarf or use it as a headscarf — both work for business and daily wear. As a belt around a plain dress waist it creates an ethnic look. A long wool scarf hangs loose around the neck (wintery), double-wrapped (thicker, warmer) or worn as a wrap. Colour rule: patterned scarves with plain outfits; plain scarves with patterned outfits can work as a calming element.
Our silk scarves are made from 16-momme silk (medium weight, durable). Wool and cashmere scarves come from a traditional Italian weavery. Patterns are designed by our designers and applied via digital or screen print. Hand-rolled edge finish on silk scarves.
