A top is the shorter and usually sleeveless alternative to a blouse — from basic to statement. At Andre Tan you'll find bandeau tops, wrap tops, bralettes and strapless models in cotton, viscose, satin and jersey.
Bandeau tops are strapless and worn for summer or under an open shirt — a non-slip inner band matters. Wrap tops tie at the side and adjust the fit. Bralettes have bra-like structure and can replace underwear at appropriate size. Classic tops with thin straps (spaghetti) are universal for summer. On fabric: cotton-elastane for daily, satin for evening, jersey for casual.
A white basic top with high-waist jeans and blazer is the eternal classic — works for business and casual. A wrap top with palazzo trousers and leather sandals for summer. Pair bandeau tops with open shirts and shorts. Satin tops for evening with a long skirt or wide-leg trousers. Rule: pair sleeveless tops with boleros, thin cardigans or open blazers.
