Introduction
A bag must serve two roles — practical and outfit-complementing. At Andre Tan you'll find tote bags, crossbody bags, shoulder bags, clutches and small handbags in leather and quality faux leather.
Tote bags (30+ cm wide) are for work and study — laptop, notebook, water bottle fit inside. Crossbody bags (15–25 cm) are for daily wear with hands free — ideal for city travel. Shoulder bags with short strap are the business classic; carried in the elbow or on the shoulder. Clutches are for evening — only essentials fit. On materials: full-grain leather is highest quality, grain leather is scratch-resistant, PU leather is easier to care for.
Colour rule: the bag should either harmonise with shoes (classic) or be deliberately chosen as an accent (modern). A camel tote pairs with all earth tones and navy. Black bags are most versatile but look less interesting. For business, we recommend structured models — they hold shape. For casual, softer rounded models are more comfortable.
Our leather bags are sewn in European workshops, mostly in Italy and Turkey. Zips are YKK. Lining is typically cotton twill, which lasts long and cleans easily. Genuine leather straps are double-stitched at attachment points with metal reinforcement.
