Introduction
Shorts are the summer garment with the widest fit range — from high-waist to lowrise, very short to Bermuda. At Andre Tan you'll find shorts in cotton, linen and denim for summer, sport and relaxed daily looks.
Very short shorts (inseam 5–8 cm) read sporty and pair with long tops. Classic shorts (inseam 8–15 cm) end at mid-thigh and work ideally for daily wear. Bermuda shorts (inseam 20–25 cm) reach the knee and look more formal. Denim shorts are usually mid-rise and pair with anything. On fabrics: linen for heat, cotton-elastane for movement, denim for durability.
Pair high-waist denim shorts with a tucked-in tank top or blouse. Wear Bermuda shorts in linen with a structured blouse and loafers — a look with business notes. Bike shorts go with oversize blazers or long cardigans. Colour rule: light shorts (beige, white, pastel) need darker tops for contrast; dark shorts handle any top colour.
Our shorts are made with focus on length relative to size — length at XS isn't the same as length at XXL, so proportions stay right. The rise height is stated on each product in cm, so you can judge the fit before ordering.
