Introduction
A dress is the quickest answer to any occasion dilemma — one garment, one look. At Andre Tan you'll find mini, midi and maxi dresses for business, everyday, evening and special occasions in viscose, satin, cotton and chiffon.
Mini ends above the knee and reads youthful; midi ends between knee and calf and is the most universal; maxi reaches the ankle and reads elegant or boho depending on fabric. On cut: A-line flatters any figure, sheath emphasises silhouette, wrap adjusts and drapes fluidly. Fabrics: viscose flows softly and works year-round; satin has a sheen and suits evening; cotton with elastane wears well daily.
For the office, wear a sheath dress in navy, black or camel with a classic blazer and pumps. For everyday, a wrap dress in viscose with sneakers or ankle boots is ideal. For evening, choose a satin dress in midi length with thin straps and matching heels. For weddings, we recommend chiffon dresses in pastels — but never in white or cream, which is reserved for the bride.
Our dresses are cut with particular attention to waist and hip fit. On wrap dresses we use double-layer fabric in the neckline area to prevent see-through. Zips are concealed and made in Germany (YKK).
