Introduction
A jacket is the mid-layer that can define a look — between sweater and coat. At Andre Tan you'll find light blazers, denim jackets, bombers and softshell styles for spring, summer and autumn.
For 15–22 °C, choose light blazers in wool blend or cotton. For 10–18 °C, wear a denim jacket, lined bomber or lightly padded transitional jacket. For 5–15 °C, you need padded models with lining or wool blends with cotton inner layers. Watch the fill weight: 60–100 g for transitional, 100–200 g for autumn.
Wear a fitted blazer in camel or navy over a white blouse with jeans or tailored trousers. Rolling the sleeves is optional but adds a younger feel. A denim jacket pairs best with dresses and skirts — contrast in length and drape. Bombers are relaxed and work with wide joggers, chinos or midi skirts. Rule: the shorter the jacket, the higher the trouser rise can sit.
Our jackets are cut to European standards with particular attention to the shoulder line. Blazers come in two standard shoulder widths — regular and narrow — depending on the model. The lining in all padded pieces is polyester taffeta, which sits smoothly and non-slip over a sweater.
