Introduction
A corset blouse isn't an actual corset — it's a blouse with a structured waist section, usually reinforced with flexible boning, lacing or waist tapes. The result: a defined silhouette without the need to wear a separate corset.
The classic version has a blouse-style top in cotton, poplin or satin with a shaped waist zone. Reinforcement is typically flexible plastic or nylon boning — not metal like in historical corsets. This makes the piece practical for everyday wear. Sleeves come short, long or in puff style; necklines range from high stand collars to deep V-cuts. The waist sits snugly without restricting breathing.
A white cotton corset blouse pairs with high-waist wide-leg jeans — a current streetstyle look. For the office, combine a black satin version with tailored trousers and open loafers. For evening, wear a dark blouse with back lacing with a long satin skirt. Key point: since the top makes the statement, keep accessories minimal — small earrings, a simple ring, no bold necklaces.
Our corset blouses are part of the annual Andre Tan collection and are produced in our own workshop using European size charts. Boning is stitched in and not visible externally. Available in sizes XS through XXL — even at larger sizes, the waist remains defined and the fit stays comfortable.
